So I had gone with a big box store hoping they would be getting more volume. I’ll try calling around a few dealers then. I feel like I have a pretty long runway (January 11) but all these posts are scaring me. I also don’t want to put my name on multiple lists. Just got a call and I can pick up the Q3 today, and will do so That was much faster than the shop thought just two or three weeks ago. I was on the waiting list since day 2 or 3 after announcement. Today I reached out to B&H to make sure it wasn't going to be shipped while I was away. They confirmed that they do not expect to fulfill my order for another couple of months. R4p70r Posted September 4, 2023 Share #908 Posted September 4, 2023 (edited) I put my self on the waiting list on Leica Camera Deutschland (launch day 1) and one of the most known German Leica Store with 3 locations (in July). Still no word about a possible determined date. The latter one warned it will take months until the shipment is fulfilled. Last week Friday I ordered from the Lufthansa World Shop when a friendly Leica redditor informed everyone on the Leica sub-reddit that they have a few Q3 in stock and ready to ship immediately. I probably got the last one because after my order was placed they set the availability to 'low on stock - pre-order now'. On their website it says that at their Urk location it is in stock… Don’t know if that is correct, but for anyone who is waiting in NL, maybe it is worth a call! I jumped on it, added to the cart, proceed to checkout and then I saw that horror message: This article is no longer available! Ordered end of July from a small Photo/Leica store in the south of Germany and shipped to me in HK on Monday, arriving today. If not getting Q3 by then, most likely I am gonna cancel the preorder and sit tight waiting for Q3M. I was lucky found CL Jahre 50 /film/ recently, one in perfect condition, so, fun film b&w shooting for a while.
