It took me some time to figure this sign out. Awesomeness!!

The magic of photography is that sometimes the details are not that obvious.
thanxs for noticing.
the background is:

the singen above of the crossway is a uneven driving lane.

but in spain it looks like a buttinette of a torero.

so since a long time I am taking pictures of it and imagining a crosswalker that uses a torero capa.

I love signs and changing them.

And I love if people change them.

cheers ….

That they stole them?

Yes.

Very sad.

Complete contrary to what Banksy intended....

But maybe he likes it that his art get around and finds a new place, who knows, we can't ask him.

I am so curious when he will reveal himself and give us a book about his methods and thoughts ...

cheers Peter

ps. I love graffiti since 1973. I was raised in Spain in Bilbao and at that time there were big political graffiti all over the place.

San Francisco City Hall last night, on January 1, at the blue hour. The building was supposed to be lit up with gold lights, but someone didn't get the memo. Still, a striking building.

Also, this is the kind of photo op I used to bring a tripod for—no longer. I just shoot on aperture priority at f/1.7 and let the camera determine the shutter speed and ISO. This was 1/50 second at ISO 1250. Image stabilization works for the slower shutter speed (not that slow), and the AI-based Denoise in Lightroom smooths out the tones. Thank you, technology.

Nicely framed and captured.  Yes, it is a real benefit not having to lug around any extra weight to get a shot one likes. The excellent Denoise AI tech really makes getting tougher shots a breeze.  My back and neck appreciate the compactness and light weight of the Q3...... not to mention its IQ.

Beautiful!.  Now, you need to go inside, especially during an evening event.
