Every year we get a $5 permit from the Forest Service that allows us to go up into the mountains and cut a Christmas tree that is less than 15 feet tall.  Usually there is lots of snow around, but not this year.  That is to my wife's liking, but I like the snow.  Makes the trees look so nice, even though it is hard to pick out a good one when they are covered.  They all look good..  A few shots from the hunt.  The frost was kind of interesting.  Not the usual shape crystals for some reason.  View it large and maybe you can see the shape.

My Q3 arrived a few days ago. I  canceled my Adorama order from early July and ordered from B&C in October.  This is the third image out of the camera.
