I like this scene. But I really feel for those poor Donkeys.

You see these donkeys mainly outside the bigger cities. And then you see them everywhere. They are really important there for people. I’m not sure if the animals are unhappy. I think they do not know another situation than this. I do not think they are mistreated. That was my impression. It is not up to me to judge the situation being a tourist. But it was interesting to see. It made you feel warped back in time!

I hate this thread

When I look at the pictures posted, I realize I suck as a photographer, no matter how great my gear is.  Some of us are born with the ability to compose and some of us are just wannabes.  I fit into the latter.  Been doing this for 40+ years and am still humbled every time I look at the pictures of those of you with the talent you possess.

Kudos

I’m enjoying the perspectives shared here. No two of us will make a photograph the same way of the same scene. I’m always intrigued by the vision of someone else.

When my wife and I travel, I sometimes take a photo of her as she takes a photo. What comes is entirely different and enjoyable, if not amusing. I enjoy how she sees and remembers the world…

Leica Q3 * ISO 100 * f/11.0 * 1/125 sec * CaptureOne * SEP3

Beautiful. This is the first monochrome conversion I've seen from a Q3 that compares a bit to the tonal qualities I get from my Q2 Mononchrom. There must be others, but I haven't seen them yet. I'm looking to see how much I'd give up if I sold the Q2M for the Q3.

Hey, it is like the 60's all over again.  Had a pretty good turn out here in Yakima, a Republican stronghold.  Only got flipped off a few times, but lots more honking and waving.  Here is my wife on her first protest.  She led a more sheltered life than I did.

I think she enjoyed the activist life.  I might just have to grow my hair out again, if that is possible.

Some trees are starting to leaf out and I though the lighting was pretty good.  Cranked the clarity way down to make it look like I was feeling.
