Thank you, I was using the profoto air remote to trigger the lights and this was shot at 1/180sec, f/5.6 and ISO125.  

I used profoto strobes; a 90cm softbox is the main light and is the only light falling on the subject.  I really like to throw the non-lit side of the subject into deep shadow (often pure black) so I use two gridded strip boxes pointed at the background to provide some separation between the darkest shadows in the subject and the backdrop itself.

I was taking full body portraits of him shadow boxing during the session and the backdrop is 2.7m wide, so it takes two strip boxes to act as fill to cover the entire backdrop. He was having a short break and a drink of water here, and I snapped this while he chatted to my assistant. If this was purely a head + shoulders portrait session I would have lit the backdrop differently but it works ok here.
