nicci78 Posted September 30, 2023 Share #101 Posted September 30, 2023 Advertisement (gone after registration) If you want a Monochrome from Pentax just buy the K-3 III MONO Their next cameras will be two compacts film, then an SLR.
Advertisement Posted September 30, 2023 Posted September 30, 2023 Hi nicci78, Take a look here Mono v Mono (new Pentax Monochrome DSLR v M11M). I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
tom0511 Posted October 11, 2023 Share #102 Posted October 11, 2023 Sow years ago I switched to Pentax (K5/II at that time) from other brands. I really liked colts handling and size, but I had serious problems with sample variation of lenses and af accuracy. In some case I tried several samples of lenses and didn't find a good sample. This were mainly zooms. I also owned some of the ltd. lenses and like the small size. Overall I could not get consistent focus and therefore gave up on the system. I wonder if this has been solved? Astropap Posted October 18, 2023 Share #103 Posted October 18, 2023 Yes, the autofocus on the Pentax K3iii and the Monochrome version are much improved. I use both the Pentax K1 and KP and am very interested in the new Pentax Monochrome. I like the Pentax cameras and prefer an OVF.
