Information on Leica Chronograph watch?

Greetings to all. I recently acquired this watch through a private auction. I have scoured the internet trying to get any information on the watch to no avail.  
The back cover says:   Chronograph      Stainless Steel    Water Resistant 50M Swiss Made       44012.                             Can anyone here possibly shed some light on this timepiece?  It is in excellent condition, but I have absolutely no clue on its value.

We don’t do valuations of anything here, but this looks like a watch from about 10 years ago. 

As you can see, it’s a promo watch for Leica Geosystems, not Leica Camera.

I'm guessing, but this does look a bit like a Swatch I bought a couple of years ago when my real watch was being serviced.

Swatch chronographs may well be using ETA movements from the same family as the current Chrono Arena, possibly including the cult MoonSwatch:
