I wrote to them last week and have just received their response. They say it will be possible, but they cannot provide a timeline because all their efforts are currently focused on shortening the repair times for technical service. They told me to contact them again in the summer.

So they're basically telling you "contact us gain in a few months" for two years now? Wow.

I was told that if I bring my M6 TTL to my local Leica Store they can make some "pressure"...

I will try that.

Jesus 😅

I will pay half of it. The guy who sold me the cam will pay the other half so is not that bad considering they will do a complete CLA, which cost is about 600€, for 200€ more I have a bee lightmeter and a CLA.

At last!

Leica M6 TTL sent. They will solve the problem installing the M-P lightmeter.

Estimated price: 1500-1700€

I will keep you informed.

Keep us informed!

that mp lightmeter is the new m6 LM too right? Im curious as to how they install it on your TTL with the top plate replaced and presumably you will lose that big speed dial too?

I have no idea but most probably.
They also change the viewer for the new one (antiflare and better).

The antiflare is a nice addition.. but i can live without.. a broken meter where it’s supposed to do it’s job what would worry me more lol.. dont get me wrong i use meterless m2r and mp classic too but m6ttl should run on meter and i have a couple lol

Did you get your camera back? I’m very curious about the outcome of your service - I have been shooting with the M10p and M11 for a long time and willing to buy a film body again. Have tried some classics as well as MPs and I had a hard time with the shutter dial. I would love to go for a TTL or the M7 that have the bigger dial with (more important) the same orientation but it doesn’t seem to make much sense if they can’t be fixed if needed.

Thank you!
