I owned a M9M in 2014 and leafed through my images from that period and I think this is a nice landscape that shows what you can do with this

It was some time ago when I took this picture with the M9M. A flight with an old Junkers JU 52.
Of course, a classic camera had to be used in an old aircraft. The instruments were imaged crystal clear by the monochrome sensor. I used the SCR 35 an SLX 50.

I was standing on the same structure :-) but then the flag was not there so I have a stupid traffic light just above where the Arche far away was supposed to be  . .

Mine here from before on Friday, with cars unknowingly turning their rounds and fanfare playing some music. (24mm M-Elmar)

WA Museum has a grand sense of space. The design incorporates wide walkways and looming structural beams. Then there are the exhibits to see.

It seems as though the M10M "post your image" page has passed the number of pages here in the M Monochrome image page.

One more question if you don’t mind, Ken.  When/why do you choose to use the MM rather than the M10M, or vice versa?

Hi Jeff, I have different workflows that that I love to create images. The M9M offers flat files that are good for contrasty grainy street images taken in low light and diffuse conditions, sometimes using movement (blur). I would use it in Melbourne on the streets however travel has been off the cards for a few years. The M10M offers dark and contrasty files with good flexibility in post production. I use the M10M for urban abstracts and street images where adding my own impression for image making works well.

But I am sure you know information about these cameras already Jeff. I am not sure why you would ask me these questions relating to cameras, workflows and filters?

Best

Ken

I own both cameras as well, but may sell one or both to simplify my shooting, especially in these restrictive times for photography.  Getting a point of view from someone who puts both to good use seemed like it might provide a fresh perspective to consider. The other question was merely about which editing software you use. Sorry to trouble you.
