All this talk (and not taking issue with it other than my new sensor as good or better than my first one, in part I attribute my learning to work the camera better, after a long hiatus missing it while it was in New Jersey.

Then I see a towel woven through this still life and it is alive!. Of course the Biogon is a sweet lens but the MM and the photographer deserve credit here. Thank you for posting this Downstairs.

MM and 28mm Elmarit v4

Maple Beach at Point Roberts Washington part of a peninsula that hangs south facing Washington from lower mainland British Columbia. To get there by car requires driving into B.C across the border and then back through a different boarder to Point Roberts. we caught a negative tide and likely could have walked and waded lightly back to "the States" but i didn't dare with the MM in tow!

Cheers,

David

Just got my Monochrom yesterday, this and the shot in the post above were taken in my first shoot. The lens is a 7Artisans 50mm f/1.1 - a relatively cheap but very-good quality lens. Love the oof bits. This looks very film-like, to my eye.

I stopped for Szechaun the other night in Seattle's Belltown.  While waiting for my Chicken w Broccoli, I decided to mount my 21 SEM to see what might be possible, but only managing one exposure before the battery died. Of course I had a second one along but it was sadly in need of a charge as well. My set here is a bit busy, but it is for me always a joy to see what this 21 is capable of and thought I'd share it here.

Edinburgh lady of the old school, polishing the brass on her door. We chatted for a while, and she was perfectly happy to be photographed. MM1 and 7Artisans 50mm 1.1.
