Hi Bill

Yes, a favourite stamping ground. This was taken on Monday this week.

Regarding the new sensor, too early to tell, but to be honest I doubt I could spot any difference (which is good!). I am really pleased to be back with a Mk1 though, and have again got the results that I like, having been unfaithful and spent a while with a 246.

And hopefully this one won't corrode.

Thanks, Gerry!

Not a ton of post.  NIK Silver Efex.  Soft contrast is the key!  Applied some of that, a little dynamic brightness opened it some, doesn't look a lot different than the original.  Some, definitely improved, but not as much as it helps a lot of my pictures!

I really like the soft contrast in Silver Efex.  If all I could use was that, I'd could get by.  That shot wasn't too bad, but a lot of what I do is much more contrasty, especially in the dark areas as you look at the original, but more exposure isn't really the answer.  DNG you can't set contrast levels, but of course the DNG files have lots of info that might not show just looking at it untouched in say Aperture which is what I use.  I've found the soft contrast works wonders.  I try to make them not look overly processed.  Too late here now, I'll put some up soon.

Separate posts because I didn't size small enough. Love the Monochrom. Constructive criticism welcome.
