bill_murray Posted February 6, 2013 Share #444 Posted February 6, 2013 Carlo - that photo is nicely framed. Ian - you got the focus right on the nose so to speak. A beautiful photo. Richard - your photo of girls balancing is a fascinating photo (and well balanced).

IkarusJohn Posted February 7, 2013 Share #446 Posted February 7, 2013 Tony, I'm flattered, but my opinion is really not worth anything. I am sufficiently old fashioned that I prefer strong, simple and apparently unmanipulated images that speak for themselves. Sorry.

phOtOny teXas Posted February 7, 2013 Share #448 Posted February 7, 2013 John one of the beauties of life is that we all have a different Aesthetic. Mine of course is different then yours, no problem. My images are shot for me and if others can enjoy them fine. I post here for feedback, good or bad and like you say the images will speak for themselves. From my perspective I see them as strong an simple. I assure you the actual images are Un-manipulated or constructed with post/photoshop techniques. They are all done in-camera. Respectfully tOny Tony, I'm flattered, but my opinion is really not worth anything. I am sufficiently old fashioned that I prefer strong, simple and apparently unmanipulated images that speak for themselves. Sorry.

This lens is much more difficult to focus in low light than my usual 50 Lux asph, but so much less clinical...That's the reason for my preference for the last pre-ASPH version of the Summilux-50, with which the picture below was taken: M-Monochrom | Summilux-50 pre-ASPH | ISO 5000 Colombo —Mitch/Bangkok Paris au rythme de Basquiat and Other Poems [download link for book project]
