Leica top plate script decal ?

Does anyone know where I can get this decal for an M11 top plate?

Of course, as I'm sure you know, that isn't a decal.  It is engraved.

That engraving only comes in the “P” models I think.

I imagine you could return the camera to Germany and pay them to engrave it?

 

I believe that sort of thing is possible. They used to do an a la carte custom service anyway.

Some leica stores with prominent service can do engraving in house but not sure if m11 is widely available except you have to send it to germany as i was told by leica singapore

Hi all thanks for the replies, yes I'm aware the image shown is engraved. I was thinking of a simple solution that can provide the look without losing the camera for months.

It won't take months. You fix a date to send it in.  It will be back in a few weeks at most.

Just sent my M11 for Engraving. If your Leica doesn't have any writing they do it. Couldn't do it on M10M Leitz or M10D. But as consolation got my M10D Leather Swapped! Waiting for shipping and will share some Photos.

Awesome, yeah I reached out to Leica USA they said it will take 3/4 months to get it back and recommended that I ship it out in March. 

I just don't want to be without my M11 for that long.

There's bound to be another user who wants a blank top plate or has blacked out the white engraving - reach out and see if anyone wants to swap top plates!

Holy Moly!!! Talk about flat out refusing peoples money!

Honestly Leica should figure out a way to fast track this easy , lucrative cosmetic upgrade.

Engraving, custom leather colors and six bit coding shouldn't  take more than two weeks.

I was told only the m11 black can be engraved, or i misunderstood the sentence by leica spore… i wonder
