I felt exactly the same with M11P and M11D, indignant at a Dane posting second-hand YouTube videos of M11D "bricked".  And then the internal memory failed.  Alas this is not normal.  And it signifies software and hardware quality problems with persistence not seen before.

I think the post you commented this on was suggesting as i do that a handful of folk giving their experiences in a forum doesn’t indicate in any way the product is globally flawed as some folk around here like to suggest.

I hate that a handful of users experienced problems but it doesn’t show the M11 to be a poorly engineered  products plasgued with software and hardware quality problems!!!

We'll never see global statistics, we only have anecdotes. I personally went through three M11s, all of which locked up or froze, two with intermittent unreadable DNG files, one additionally with exposure white-outs. Replies from the shops like "minority of users" and "fully resolved" or "we tested the camera you returned and it works perfectly" felt like gaslighting and did nothing to reassure me - quite the opposite.

It's hard to take the "nothing to see here" comments seriously after some personal, and yes anecdotal, experience.

Most issues are SD card-related or due to lack of correct formatting in my view.

The very nature of software/firmware and electronics means that all cameras are likely to be affected or none.

My M11 runs the same firmware as others and has never had any issues.

Mostly yes but not completely. I had very very little trouble when just using internal memory, vast majority when using SD and moving backwards and forwards between camera and computer without wiping. I think it was something around the difference in disk state when the card was removed and then the altered files when it came back if not cleared/formatted. No idea though!

Just as a counterpoint - if you are using Lightroom, you don't need to move the card back and forth to offload the images. Just hook up a USB-C cable and pull them over the same as you did with internal memory. I have only removed the card from my M11 a few times and that was to transfer my settings backup to the computer.

In the past I used internal memory most of the time and recently I have started using the card, as I got a random error message not too long ago saying the internal memory was full. It was on one of the beta test firmware versions and I haven't seen it before or since...but I have erased the internal memory hundreds of times, so figured it might make sense to spread some of that use/wear to the card.

‘Twas for testing purposes only. I’d had no crashes for 5,000 images and as soon as I started testing card out and back without wiping crashes started. It’s not the only cause of trouble but it was a major one for me in my testing.

Good point to make though!
