Photoshop wasn't there ;)

It wasn't far off looking like that - it probably wasn't quite so purple, but it was definitely stormy and wintry and very cold.

I have done "Auto Color" in PS (so you don't have to), and this is the result. I quite like the purple.

The name attracted me to this. In Irish this would be Bealach na Mbo (Anglo pronunciation 'Ballack Na Mow') or the 'way of the cows' . Wikipedia gives the translation of Bealach na Ba as 'pass of the cattle' which fits.

Jimi Hendrix wrote about being surrounded by ‘purple haze’ in a dream, and why not, if purple was the idea I like it even more.
