250swb Posted December 22, 2022 Share #8 Posted December 22, 2022 A very, very nice photo but I don't really buy the 'natural colours', something very different and naturalistic appears by pressing 'Auto Color' in Photoshop.
andybarton Posted December 22, 2022 Author Share #9 Posted December 22, 2022 Photoshop wasn't there It wasn't far off looking like that - it probably wasn't quite so purple, but it was definitely stormy and wintry and very cold. I have done "Auto Color" in PS (so you don't have to), and this is the result. I quite like the purple. Welcome, dear visitor! willeica Posted December 22, 2022 Share #10 Posted December 22, 2022 The name attracted me to this. In Irish this would be Bealach na Mbo (Anglo pronunciation 'Ballack Na Mow') or the 'way of the cows' . Wikipedia gives the translation of Bealach na Ba as 'pass of the cattle' which fits. Lovely photos, Andy. William

Jimi Hendrix wrote about being surrounded by ‘purple haze’ in a dream, and why not, if purple was the idea I like it even more.
