Tri-X 400. Processing and scanning through a local lab. At this point I have just started to develop my own film. All I did was crop out an ugly thing on the right side of the image.

The weather lent itself to the range. It was a very gray day and voila the sun started to peek through the clouds to illuminate the buildings in the background. It really is all about the light, eh?

Hi and welcome. I really like the second image, great dynamic range, what film and processing are you using?

Regards

Terry

A few weeks ago I bought a secondhand chrome M7, most likely made in 2003 or so, if the serial number is anything to go by. The covering is starting to peel up at the front of the top plate above the frameline lever, and the circle has just slid straight off the battery cover, but I've got it in a chocolate brown Zhou case. Gorgeous all round.

It's my first film M and I love it. The shutter is so much quieter than the M9's, and a lot less obtrusive than the metallic 'clack' of the Zeiss Ikon. The leather half case makes it a lot easier and more comfortable to hold; while it is slimmer than the M9, I also find it a lot more slippery. In time I might get some Black Beauty leather from Cameraleather.com and re-cover it, but the case is a fine solution for now. Finally I'm hearing the shutter sound that is 'like a kiss', and I'm very, very happy.
