Recently I got a visoflex with the 240 and that case is really nice.

The earlier visoflex 020 case was nice so you would think at twice the price the new one wouldn’t have a chintzy pouch with the bottom glue in! lct Posted December 24, 2023 Share #28 Posted December 24, 2023 I'll use the leather case until it falls apart, being a Xmas present, but i'll keep discreetly the soft pouch for if the EVF happens to heat too much. Prudence is the mother of safety 😇
chris7273 Posted March 18, 2024 Share #29 Posted March 18, 2024 Here is my prototype for my visoflex case. I made it quickly yesterday evening. The final version will have a longer lid, a soft "non plush" lining and better executed (I will take my time 😉 to cut accurately the leather, hook&loop better positioned,...). The rubber base is attached to the case. What do you think? Any idea to refine the concept ? Welcome, dear visitor! Kiwimac Posted March 24, 2024 Share #30 Posted March 24, 2024 The most annoying thing about this is that silly rubber bit that covers the bottom and keeps falling off. That and the fact that the resolution isn’t really very good.

As for the resolution it is good enough for me. The best Visoflex ever made in 50+ years. YMMV.

YMMV. Yes. It may be the best but it’s hardly cutting edge. The SL2 is almost twice the resolution and the Fuji Film GFX is almost double the SL2. Pretty sure they could have done better. lct Posted March 25, 2024 Share #34 Posted March 25, 2024 The Visoflex 2 is an accessory finder. I don't know how big the SL2's EVF would be in a separate housing. I would compare the Visoflex 2 to the 020 or even the EVF of the digital CL which gives me more or less the same feeling.
davidmknoble Posted March 25, 2024 Share #35 Posted March 25, 2024 It is a shame that the Visoflex came with a simple slid on bottom that didn’t just fall off and that it came with a simple ‘harder’ case that was easy to throw in a bag next to a lens or extra battery. I love the Visolfex 2 usability on the camera, but the bottom rubber ‘cap’ never stays on and I have never been able to get it on since I took it off out of the box. So, what I like about the hard case is that it all stays together. The bag case was useless since the rubber cap kept falling off. Sort of a sweet and sour upgrade if you asked me… Nice to see some alternatives and hand made options that do the same thing. Of course none of this stopped me from using the Visoflex 2, but it does make it more difficult.
lct Posted March 25, 2024 Share #36 Posted March 25, 2024 Are you referring to the plastic cap in the camera's hotshoe? I have no memory of another one but i may have lost it, if any. As for cases i have both the leather and the soft one but i find the latter so handy that the leather one is still in its box. Nice leather though, a Xmas gift from my wife so i hopr she doesn't read me...

The hot shoe cover is easy to remove and replace. 1
