jaapv Posted September 5, 2022 Share #2 Posted September 5, 2022 My dog has solved that one - when I am on the phone during a walk he disappears and puts on the invisibility cloak he always carries with him. Regardless of being called he will stay away for exactly seven minutes. I had to counter by a. GPS tracker.

stuny Posted September 5, 2022 Share #5 Posted September 5, 2022 Well caught. Even at just past sunrise in the park where we do our 8 km speed walk, a woman passed us, texting, and missing out on nature. Considering all he issues (such as walking with it in crowds, or even standing near crowds, unaware they are wandering, driving while texting, and so on) in is a most harmful and widespread addiction.

david strachan Posted September 6, 2022 Share #8 Posted September 6, 2022 Even waiting for appointments (doctor, bus, etc) everyone seems to go straight to phone...or perhaps a very old magazine at the dentist. I prefer to sit quietly, enjoying the peace, and that wonderful feeling of almost getting bored. ...
