If it’s an update to the MP then all the better. Environmental rules keep getting stricter which could influence some changes to ensure future compliance. Because we cannot legally sell MP's anymore because of new laws with products with the button batteries. Leica AUS reps/ambassadors are in Wetzlar for this announcement so. The Australian one needs a “special tool” to open it apparently. I’ve heard Leica users being called many things but I thought this one is particularly rude ! 😂

According to my sources, once they are all sold Leica will send out an urgent service advisory informing customers that they should immediately peel off the 'Leitz' red dot that was applied 'in error' over the Cosina label underneath. derleicaman Posted October 19, 2022 Share #954 Posted October 19, 2022 Arrived in Leitz Park a few hours ago, and await the announcements tomorrow. I was told that Leica Germany has never had this much interest for an event at Leitz Park. 2

I’m sure with enough money they can buy the license to use the black logo, especially for a special edition or limited run camera like the Seal camera. Having the part on hand to sell to whoever is an entirely different matter…

That is cheap by Leica terms. a new MP is nearly 5700$ I prefer the MP winder for sure over the M6 winder, but this camera was the perfect chance to actually capitalize on the M6 love right now, 4000$ and it would've been perfect. make it aluminum instead of brass, or even nickel. you have an M6 thats more than an old one, but still has warranty and comes brand new. To me, releasing an MP with an M6 skin for about the same price is not really in the spirit of why the M6 is popular and loved. If its limited to 500 pieces, than I can see the price being more justified. Who pays $3800:for a 30 year old M6? You can buy a used MP for that, or a new one for $4200! Just order from the UK and the warranty is international.

But i don't have scans from that yet. For the pictures I've scanned from both films, I'm afraid they aren't from the same subjects and so they are not really comparable. But what I remembered was that it was harder to scan the C200 then the Superia and I found the colors of the Superia way better. Especially skin tones, but also others. Also the C200 film stripes was not as flat as the Superia. But this was years ago. As you see by the prices I mentioned I could have saved a lot of money by using the C200 instead off the Superia. But I decided to stay with the Superia. Now Fuji decided for me:( But I would say the C200 was one of the best budget films. Unfortunately now you can't be sure if you still get the C200 I tested years ago today. There was some reports that on some boxes is written "Made in USA". So could be that you get Kodak stuff in there instead of the original Fuji and you can never be sure what is inside. I did a comparison between budget and quality film here. But that was Fuji Superia Reala vs Kodak Ultramax 400. Colors from the cheap Fuji 200 (Japan). Welcome, dear visitor!
