Horseshoe

My neighbor has flown this for 10 years. It's the logo for the Indianapolis Colts NFL Team.  I am not a fan but must accept this distraction.

Leica CL with 24-90 at 24mm (36mm equivalent) f2.8 1/4000 ISO 250

Kauai, March 2022

Brought the CL/24-90 as a second body to compliment the S1R/Sigma Art 14-24 on a helo charter. Very pleased with my hardware choices.

I am not against experimentation with new technology when it comes along. That said, I find Adobe’s ‘replace sky’ feature and other AI initiatives from companies like Luminar to be pretty distasteful. I can see its use in a commercial setting but for landscapes, nature photography, documentary and the like, I struggle to see any valid application.

No intention to offend.

Felt very Spring like this morning, trees coming to life, on the chilly side, but some nice real blue sky... CL 28mm CV Ultron.

I'm generally not much of a street photographer, but as I was taking a photo of this bike right after a rainstorm, a barefoot little girl was splashing through puddles and stopped right in frame with the sun peeking out on her hair. She looked right at me and I enjoyed one of those few fortuitous experiences of being in the right place at the right time.
