Good to see you back. Didn't you exchange your CL for a Q2?

Yes, I did sell the CL, lenses and lots of other gear and purchased the Q2.

Definitely a learning curve having a single lens camera, but absolutely love it. And with the 47MB pixels I still can crop in when required to get some sort of 'range'.

Like to go through some old photos every now and then. Thought this one was more of a keeper than initially thought.

Lovely! Tripod? Shutter speed?

Handheld at f/5.6, 1/250th second,  ISO 125, -3 EV.  150mm equivalent.  I was sitting on a bench in the park and could brace the camera.  The sheep were pretty close, about 20 feet away.  They seem to like posing for people.  There is a herd of about 30 of them that comes down from the mountain to graze in the afternoon.  No lawnmowers needed at that park.

Can you recover any more detail in the middle distance?

Because I think it conceals information which might add to the appeal of the scene. Perhaps you prefer a dark land mass.

I hear you but it wouldn’t represent the truth of the scene. Setting sun just about to dip behind the woods to the right, therefore lower areas in shadow and higher areas - the foreground - still catching the last direct light.
