I need your experience on lenses for my CL. It’s my only camera. I have the 18-56 and the TL 35. I have a feeling that I need less or more. I’d like to keep it simple but want to capture the best of the Highlands. We are going to concentrate on the Highlands and The Islands. Not, the metro- areas. Wonderful link above from Le Chef.. though I doubt you will suffer those conditions in late September, from previous trips of ours in late September weather has been wonderful. You already know how very capable the two lenses you have are, I would most definitely take both. I'm not really a wide angle shooter and the 18mm end has always been wide enough for me, so if I were to add anything to your kit it would probably be the 55-135, that doesn't mean you will need it though. Actually restricting your lens choices can make the whole thing much more pleasurable.. especially as this is a visit with your lovely wife Judy who probably won't want you to be weighed down with camera stuff and constantly stopping for setting up tripods etc, just enjoy the experience. I really should listen to my own advice😊! Anyway couple from our trip, both with 18-56 (each end) just to keep Jaapv happy and not break forum rules (this being image thread).
