Whitefish Lake.  TL 35

One of 11,758 in Minnesota. Our lake cabin is on a smaller lake that connects through a  narrow channell to this lake.

Time to run for home !

Hi everyone! I'm a new owner of the lovely CL !

I've just got the CL last weekend with a m lens adaptor, popped my little voiglander 35mm on and loving the light weight and feel of it!

I would be very pleased to take a picture half as good as this one with my V-Lux extended. I love the posture and seclusion of this beautiful bird. My CL does not have an Apo-Telyt as a companion, so in extremis, I seek alternative solutions.

This critter allows time for about half a flick of the wrist with trap MF and he's gone.  His more confiding overseas cousin, the Australian Yellow White-Eye, is much easier to shoot.

Swinhoe's White-Eye . . .

How about an APO-Elmarit instead, David?  The 180mm APO coupled with an APO-Extender-R 2X yields a roughly 540mm AOV and is blissfully light and easy to handle on the CL, rendering superb imagery.

One more with the CL/280 combo . . .

A munia, probably scaly-breasted, but have to wait for his adult feathers to grow in to be sure . . .

Welcome - a nice subject, but I think you have to look at your sharpening settings.

Stuart suggested that the original needed something up close for scale. Here is a shot from the same night.
