Nature keeps flowering through it all.  I'm sure this lotus has bloomed before this year while we've been away, but this is the first start after the CV19 lockdown here in Singapore.  The bud was 3.5cm tall this morning.  The first two pictures with an 18-56 for context.  The close-ups with the Sigma 70 macro.

My wife has been chosen to speak on behalf of the online graduating class at St. Joseph's College’s, Maine, Virtual Commencement on May 9, 2020.

Here she is just home from work, (it's 7:30 pm and she started at 5:00 am) recording her commencement address for a virtual graduation day.                                 She's graduating with a Masters in Business Administration and a Masters of Science in Nursing, all of this while running an incredibly busy Visiting Nurses office in a hard hit area of New Jersey where much of her day is spent ensuring the safety of her staff and wellbeing of her patients.

She's pretty magnificent.

CL with 60mm

PS there's another wider shot in the I Like B&W thread.

great image, esp from this low angle.  Is it possible (or appropriate ... ) to remove the black cable from across the picture?

Yes anything possible in Photoshop, I just posted as a quick photo I took at night in Santa Monica. I’ll post another one.
