2 signs of spring: robin and Downy woodpecker  with the 80-200 f/4 R mount + 2x extender. Sorry: I am stuck in "you have used all the attachment space you are allowed to post" hell. Can't repost, delete from "manage attachments to free up space" or exchange. Take my word for it: robins and woodpeckers do appear in spring and I did take photos of them!

Very, very nice. One of the older versions or the new f/1.2? I've had my heart set on the f/1.2, but photos with that lens on flickr haven't impressed me nearly as much as what you've posted (with whatever version this is).

This is the f/1.5 one. I don't know how old it is as I bought it of eBay last year. Always a gamble but I think this one is ok.

I, too, have a missing daughter but this is not her. I am always looking for her.

Yes, I definitely think you won that gamble!

I think there are now four Voigtla"nder 50 mm lenses each with a different maximum aperture and each has its own qualities.

I actually prefer my made in Germany TL 35 mm L mount 1.4. Sorry if this is disturbing.

I think you combined two separate posts of mine, but yes, the TL lens is fantastic if > 2x the price and not FF if one wants to use it elsewhere. With cost no object, the forthcoming L mount 35 (50 equiv) f/2 APO is going to be mindblowing.

Why will the f2 be more mind blowing than the 1.4?
