With this smile, she made me buy a bunch of candies in Park City, Utah!

Big day for these two today (our daughter and son in law) - opened their first retail premises, so Ma was on hand to grab a few shots with CL + 35TL, we went from lots of fooling around to Adam's stern face (apparently)!

Amazing.  An with the standard 'kit' zoom :-).  As you have said before, this is an amazing lens.  The next two posts by EUSe further demonstrate what it can do with photographers like you.

When I saw these "Cowboys" in Jackson Hole, I found it really cool to still see "Real" cowboys in this part of the country, and rush to take some shots. But later, when I had some discussion with them, I learned they are not real cowboys, they are coming from California and bring their horses in a trailer to walk around in Jackson Hole!....

Using focus tracking; but I was not much helped by almost facing the sun.

Jayne, when I saw this kid running here, I immediately thought of you and wondered how you would photograph her! :)

Nice one Louis.  I use focus tracking a lot more now since your suggestion.  When the little ones are running around it really helps.  I still struggle a little when they run towards me but I think it's because I am liable to move too which doesn't help.  Good light and f/8 also big help.

Example of tracking four legs,  CL and 55-135 had no trouble here, the young fallow deer just ran very neatly across the frame and was not going too fast.

Jayne, I love your nature and animal shots. I spent 2 weeks in the land of elks and bisons, but could only have a lousy shot of a sleepy bison! .... Even the bison burger I had was too dry and hard to swallow! lol

I guess I was not very lucky!
