CL + Sigma 100-400 + TC1411

I know these are not brilliant but the Kingfisher is my favourite bird and we have a pair locally.

I find this combination struggles at further distances even if it works stellar at 10 yards, could of been me shaking with joy after seeing it :)

Just picked up a Sigma TC-1411 for my CL & Sigma 100-400 combi.

I have not yet conquered the technique but hopefully by the end of the month we will be allowed to travel & I can get to some better locations.

Finally one I am pleased with, I managed to get closer this time and the lens performs a little better when closer.

In all honesty, I think the CL & Sigma 100-400 combination is not good enough for this kind of thing (wildlife) unless you are up close & personal with the subject then it's very good indeed. I am not holding my breath but I hope the CL2 is a reality and coming very soon otherwise I will have to jump ship for Birding photography.

Sorry for all the bird shots, you must be getting fed up with them by now b ut it does make an old man happy :)

Late evening skies over the Cerrillos, from El Dorado, New Mexico. Tripod mounted CL / 55-135mm @ 76mm

I was shooting the CL and a Z7 side by side, it's interesting to look at the files later, the color palates are so different.
