This was a more cooperative subject, still learning. Itnteresting that more light seems to be coming from the snow than the sky.

We are getting those temps tomorrow, today was light snow, as it has been for the last couple of days. You do have a blue sky, that helps.

He`s not keen on having his picture taken but he relented.

Hi Michael, good shot - shows a lot of character which to me screams out for monochrome, removes the clash of colours and accentuates the bold jacket and the lighting on the gentleman’s face amplifies his rugged appearance.

Is it an ‘understanding amongst fellow photographers’ not to mess with each other’s posted images ? - If it’s not annoying to do so, offer my perspective on your great photo, as attached - you need to click on it to see it clearly, at least on my computer and ipad the images I post look krap otherwise.

A wonderful  summary of the weather and the times, Jayne. I took some garden landscapes, from open doors (briefly) and through double-glazed windows or open a chink. I will process them tomorrow. The Sigma tele-zoom is very useful in these conditions.  I mostly used my old X Vario and V Lux for distant reach. But I did take a few with CL and  23 mm Summicron so I will consider one of those for this thread.
