Flying Orange    TL 35

I had to wait for 30 minutes, but it was worth it.

I got into the CL just last month. I love the color science of this camera especially when paired with the TL 35 1.4.

Excellent. I too love the lens. My grandchildren are 1200 miles away in Montana. Lucky you and great photo.

Thanks, Albert. The Summilux-TL 35 is probably the sharpest, most "perfect" lens in my entire kit, which includes great M and R lenses. It is not what I would call a "character" lens, but, man, it can really deliver some stunning images. The CL deserves some of the credit. I can hardly perceive a difference in IQ from my SL (other than DOF).

My grandchildren live far away also. Fortunately, they are still happy to pose before my camera. 😊

A final shot from Paris. Sadly this place was closed so I didn't get to see the inside. An amazing (and genuine) Art Deco Glass House.

Albert I really like this shot but there's a couple of things I'd suggest if you will allow me. First, the flowers which I assume are the subject of this image are drownin in shodow. Lift the shadow and/or add a touch of exposure to them to lift the light and maybe even add a little bit of saturation; that whole corner is far too dark relative to the rest of the image so you could use a graduated filter in LR. Secondly, that patch of blue sky top left is competing with your subject. Crop it or desaturate it and reduce the contrast in that area, again you can just apply a graduated filter to achieve that.

Mucho thanks. I was just messing around but I take your critique with true heart felt appreciation. The photo opportunities have been pretty bleak lately, probably my own fault. We leave for our lake cottage in N. Minnesota in two days for a ten day stay. Hundreds of easy opportunities.

Kindest Regards and thank you for the advice. 🕺
