Colorful flowers - CL and L Macro 60 mm.  This lens is really excellent - but I would like to have one with longer focal length too. Unfortunately I cannot use my 180 mm Macro from Canon, when I want to change aperture  via the CL, this is only possible with the SL and the Novoflex adapter, which does not work on the CL. Neither does the new Sigma adaptet MC 21 this, not usable on the CL and the SL (at least with the last firmware, with 3.4 things seemed to have worked). The information on the Sigma website is not correct, which does promise, the MC 21 would work in the SL and the CL too. I have contacted both, Leica and Sigma too. Sigma said, that they regret this, the specs have changed later and it is uncertain, that there might be a update or a special new adapter for the Leicas SL and CL. From Leica I got no sufficient answer - the people in charge were not in - and that was more than one week ago.  As a matter of fact I am worried  by this situation esp. concerning the behavior of the Leica people. And for me that is no good news for the so called  L Alliance at all.

I believe that Sigma has apologized on its website; it seems clear (at least to me) that it was Leica who has blocked the compatibility. Have you considered the 100mm f/2.8 APO-Macro-Elmarit-R? Some say it's the greatest macro ever produced.

I know, that the 100mm APO Elmarit is a great lens, but I would like the same comfort I have with the 60 mm Macro on the CL. For the SL it is not such a problem, but for the CL it is.  And I would like to have the focal length of the Canon 180 mm plus the crop woth the CL.
