A plant, dreams can be made of.  Pharmaceutical ones, but bad ones too ...With CL and 90/280 - background not changed, according to real photo.

Albert it's lovely to see, and yes improved.  Think I may have to ask you to very quickly return if you hear a few chirps anytime soon!

CL with Vario-Elmar-R 35-70 (circa 1989).    I know this lens doesn't have the greatest reputation, but mine's been CLA'd and looks like new.  I'm happy with its performance (did some brick wall tests, etc.) and the bokeh seems okay to me.    The one downside is that it doesn't focus very close.   This photo was at 70mm (105mm on APS-C) and was as close as I could get.

Blue Lily - CL Voigtlander 40mm 1.2

Gorgeous image. I have to ask because I've never, ever heard of or seen blue lilies - was there some human intervention involved in turning them that colour?

Good question Dippy.  I have seen them in this colour at florists, and I think you can buy the bulbs to grow them in this colour yourself - of course I'm sure there has been some human work involved, just as with all the various colour of many plants you can get now.

Father and Son DIY, and yes I was nagging behind the camera at lack of goggles, gloves or indeed any thought of health and safety!  My husband giving Dan a helping hand using old wood to recycle into new window boards for his first home ownership project.  CL and again CV 40mm 1.2

Jayne, a safety guard (1st pic) would be a very good investment.
