With my new R135 f/2.8 + 2x APO extender. Right off my porch, as these House Finches have nested there.

Your lovely portrait really shows off how versatile this lens is. For a one-size-fits-all it’s tough to beat.

Very nice portrait, but I'm sure, so much prettier without the shades.

Said goodbye to my beautiful Bertie on Tuesday, took this on his last walk to this spot, he was far too bad on his legs to make it up there in the last few months but it's somewhere he loved to go... lots of tears in our house at the moment but just have to remember how lucky we were to have had him with us for fourteen years.  Also a good reminder to me of why I take photo's, sometimes I ask myself the question, but it is a comfort to have so many memories of him on my hard drive, now to make his final album.

Sorry to hear the sad news.  A beautiful picture for memories.

My condolences, Jayne. Saying goodbye to a beloved pet is so very emotional, even though we may recognize it is time. Same thing for my daughter's,  "Belle", just a few weeks ago, who had become infirmed so that she was walked in a baby stroller.

Excellent! You beat me to the subject, Albert (I've been staring at my hammock out back). But I think other angles will work as well, and B&W too!

Thank you. I agree she is very attractive without the shades (she is a good, entirely platonic, friend), but in this case the whole point of the photo was the red lipstick, the sun, the café setting - and the shades - and I don't mind being visible in them. She'd just sat down at the café table opposite me with the sun behind her, I saw how she looked, and knew that was the effect I wanted. When she relaxes, she is a great model. I beg forgiveness for posting in this CL thread this photo with the SL + 24-90, taken a couple of years ago, and posted in the forum before. It took an hour before she relaxed enough.

It's 06:05 on a dreary Saturday morning and I've just dragged my 76 year old frame out of bed. You have made my day my friend, such a stunningly attractive young lady, many thanks for posting.

Who needs red lipstick anyway, when one has youth and natural beauty.

A detail of a blossom - a strong macro with CL and Canon MP-E 65 - a special macro lens.  In my opinion looking very abstact - but it is pure nature.
