Philip Johnson designed building on Madison Avenue, for AT&T.  AT&T didn't like it and sold it to Sony, which was fine, but they completely changed the ground floor, which was arguably the best thing about its design.

Actually, Foley Square, just north of Times Square, and seemingly a part of it.

Thanks a lot for the correction. This is why removing "Edit" from our posting is a very bad mistake. It was much better before!... Instead, if they could give us the option and the "How-To" of deleting a post, it would be much more logical and convenient!...
