You can find an option of "Apply Camera Keystone Data". Don't aspect it to work with your Leica. Only works with Phaseone cameras

Yeah I tried to contact them about that but haven't heard anything yet. I'm starting to wonder if there is a way to create this functionality with an AppleScript, same as I have a script (that I found somewhere with google) that helps to apply the digital zoom cropping data from the raw files in CaptureOne. But I wouldn't know where to start trying that

What I realized recently on my M11 is that the perspective control is always ON. Even when it is set to OFF in the camera menu.

When importing with "Adobe Standard" or "Camera settings" then the images that are taken with ON show the controlled perspective immediately. The photos that I took with PC OFF show that perspective control only when I click the ikon "Transform" in Lightroom Classic.

Is that the intention or is this a bug? Its actually not too bad at all as it is implemented now: When I get the impression that I would like to alter the perspective in Lightroom and when I realized that there is an immediate proposal that comes originally from the camera then there is nothing against that. I am always able to put in my own settings if I which.

It is embedded per default. Always there, so you can leave it OFF unless you shoot JPGs and/or want to see the results in camera straight away. The ON setting seems to serve the latter. The perspective control data is always just a click away in LR/ACR. To me, this seems intentional and by no means a bug.

All M cameras that support PC always store the two angles necessary for perspective correction in the DNG. Turning PC on shows the PC frame in the camera and automatically applies PC with appropriate import setting (Adobe only).

I turn PC on only when I need to frame in EVF or LCD. I usually have it off and apply correction in the post only when appropriate.

I really appreciate that the angle information is always stored in DNGs. This approach is unique to some digital M’s and helps with image quality.

Are you saying that with the PC is off in M11 and using the latest Adobe software you cannot apply PC in Lightroom Classic or ACR? (select Transform panel and press Guided button)

It works for me.

I support your arguments. Of course it is true that one could make the PC in post only. But often the photographer has to see exactly what is in the frame and what is outside. For this its essential to switch the PC "on" in order to see if the full steeple of the church is in the image. In post its too late when I realise that the full steeple is in the image but by no way can I set the lines strait without cutting the top of the building. I use the PC-function a lot and put it ("PC on") onto the FN button (ideal for use with Visoflex).

it is strange. some time it works and other times is does not. tested on 6bit lenses and not.

shooting with PC on in live view the line came up. the JEPG looks corrected, the RAW does not load any correction data in Lr or ACR.

Sometimes when it does the correction the line are not parallel .

I need to double check, but IIRC, ACR can modify the DNG which sometimes lead to the irreversible removal of the PC data. I hope to run some tests tomorrow.
There should be no such issue with Lightroom Classic.

I have tried ACR and did not find any issues. Which ACR version are you using?
AFAIK, it is expected that some lines should not be parallel. When making all lines parallel, the image can look unnatural. That is the problem when doing manual transformations.

ACR and LrC are all up to date..

"some lines should not be parallel" ok but in the preview in camera is was showing quite good corrected and in ACR was a little off

I see. Will run some tests saving both JPGs and DNGs and compare the difference with PC on.
