edit: misread the date. Tuesday is more logical. Very Apple-like.

Thanks.

But why on earth release it in a Friday afternoon (in Germany)? If something is wrong you might have to fix it in the weekend.

I’m happy it is finally coming.

Along with whatever bug fixes, goodies come with M11's v 1.3.00, I can't wait to try to the new camera firmware update process/feature with the FOTOS app. I'm also looking forward to FOTOS-Bluetooth GPS feature to come out of Beta.

I just heard, through FOTOS, that perspective control will be included in the next firmware update “to be issued soon”.

Where did you see that?  I just checked with Android and with an iPad, but didn't see a coming features list.  My android Fotos did want to offer an update, so perhaps it is now ready to do the firmware update just like the iPhone.  I think we may have three editions of FOTOS now, since the iPhone, iPad and Android are all different products.

I had left a message on FOTOS (on my iPhone) re PC and got that response this morning.

  • 3.1.0

    Mar 28, 2022

    – Downloaded images in Leica Gallery can now be marked as favorites

    – Leica Gallery can now also be filtered by Lightroom status

    – Double-tap the "Filter" button to reset all filters

Thanks for that.

That is Leica FOTOS update, not the M11 firmware update.

FWIW I had to delete the Leica Fotos app from my iPhone then reinstall the app in order to receive the latest v3.1.0

On my iPad I was able to update the Fotos app as usual.

I was hoping it was camera firmware, not the app software. But it's there for download/upgrade at the app store (don't know about Samsung, etc).

As a first-timer I have to say the release notes PDF from Leica are very nicely detailed, explaining how to use the all the new and extended functionality with what I assume are just pages from updated manuals (I just received my, now outdated, hardcopy last week!). Can't wait to play around with the new changes later though

Does the firmware update with the FOTOS app work?

Thank you @ mrmalo. Maybe I have to wait for Leica to load the notification to the FOTOS App. I don't see anything so far and I am on the latest version of FOTOS.

Anybody see a firmware update notification on their FOTOS app yet ?
