Closer?  Maybe you are corrct. But I do think that the bird being on the left side and his environment ( flowers and leaves) take most of the space, shows all the work this little creature has to do.  I think it is a creature capture of a free bird.

Thank you, Carl. You're right that this little bird has a lot of work to do but they are very capable as you know. It's amazing to watch how quickly and thoroughly they take the nectar out of the flowers.

Actually, this was in my secondary area (Palm Springs, CA). I doubt we'll see them in Wisconsin for another couple of months. Although, with the climate warming, maybe sooner
