Hello
In the past, when shooting the SL2 model tether, I posted because of the camera freeze.

Find the cause of the problem and post it.
Other users told me a lot of checks.
The solution I found after testing was the synchronizer.
Since I don't use SD card when I film tethers,
It's not an sd card problem.
Tether cables are used without any problems with other cameras.
That's not a problem either.
Of course, the computer wasn't a problem.
You can use it at first when using propoto synchronizers (for Nikon and Fuji).
If you use it for a long time, the camera will heat up.
The camera stops.
Then, the battery itself must be removed to reset.
Prophoto doesn't support Laika, so please keep that in mind.
(I think the remote that can be used for all propos will be available.)
You can't use a different brand's synchronizer, so please note that in mind.
If you use a common synchronizer that can be used for all cameras, you can use it without any problems.

I hope SL2 users will use it without any problems, and I am posting it.

Hi, I solved the problem.

I've tried a lot to find out why the problem occurs.

The conclusion is the synchronizer.

The problem was the prophoto synchronizer.
There is no problem using the propoto synchronizer, but if you use it for a long time, the camera stops.
If you use another brand synchronizer, you can use it without any problems.

I found the problem, but I don't feel good.
Other brands' cameras do not find the camera stopping just because they use a synchronizer for other makers.
I think it would be good if Leica recognizes these problems and solves them. I think.

Hello, Im having the same problem.

I use the Profoto air ttl remote for nikon and would like to know what remote you use now? since the one from Profoto specifically for Leica its only being released late November.

I actually just got the SL2 and went to the studio yesterday for work and experienced the camera stopping multiples time having to remove the battery. I gave it up, turned off the camera and started shooting with my good and old Nikon D850.

Would be very helpful if you could tell me what remote I can use for Leica SL2 and profoto flashes while tethering with Capture one 22.

Thank you!

take some take and cover the contacts of the trigger, expose only the center pin and you should be good to go.
