I'd love to use a 90 degree (look down) angle finder on my MP. I know they made them for the Leica R bodies and there is the new visoflex for the digital bodies. Indeed, I suppose, there are the bulky original visoflexes but I don't want to use that. Is there anything out there like these?

I know there are those old screw mount leica ones but they the same as these "look down" ones

Thanks for suggesting the small angle finder that’s sometimes part of the 90 macro elmar set. I’ve tried it and it’s not very pleasant to use and blocks out much of the frame lines on a 0.72. It’s made to be used with the 90 optimally.

real pity that there isn’t anything more like the ones I posted in my original message.

It would be pretty great if there were some sort of adapter with the Leica M eyepiece screw thread on one end and the Leica R or Leicaflex SL fit on the other. Then one could perhaps use the viewfinders fitting those cameras. I happened across this discussion that might help.
