Camera: Leica M11
Lens: Leitz Wetzlar Summaron 35mm f/2.8 (goggle version).

Just posting some test shots for anyone interested. Got the lens today, took some photos on my way back to the office. Added S-curve in Lightroom and some light to the images that was slightly underexposed (+1-2).

@ f/5.6 or f/8, ISO 800, 1/500 (100ish% crop from 60MP file zone focus)

In my opinion, you should check conversion to black and white.

Interesting..I hadn't thought of that.

I assume that you can remove the goggles? Was it difficult to find a good copy of this lens?

Can be removed, but the lens brings up the 50mm framelines, and the goggles «transforms» the 50mm framelines to 35mm view. Without the goggles you don’t get the good rangefinder experience. They look cool.

Explained here under «Finders, Versions and Compatibility»:

Leica Store here in Oslo had it for sale 👍 Looks really great. Mint condition. Payed 600USD. Lens hood included.

I see - so leave the goggles on! Great price by the way - there is nothing on EBay even close to that. I got the Light Lens Lab f2 8 element - coming in a week or so - so we’ll see how that lens stacks up. Most people are loving it. The Summation looks good!

Yeah, happy with it!

Good luck with the LLL, looks identical to this one (minus the goggle). Post some pictures 😊
