Used a tripod today. The image consists of two shots: one exposed for the highlights, the other for the shadows.
I really like the extra pixles the M11 delivers. I could take a portrait format crop out of this and still would be getting a larger image then the M10 would produce.

One of my first shots from today.
Even though the sky was a bit boring, I really like the colours and the light in this image.

I was excited to view this post as I have a black M11 on order. I realize that most of the images posted here are test shots, however, mostly all seem soft and lacking the detail that I would expect to see. These could have been taken with any camera costing way less than a Leica. I'm hoping that the image size posting limitation of this website is the culprit.

I had to change monitors and clean my glasses but you are spot on.  I saw soft images.  But the last few pages have some good shots that actually exhibit the M11's abilities.

Two more, since most examples here are with sharp / APO lenses, adding a bit of vintage flavor here as well :)

beautiful, just beautiful. the pre-asph is such a nice lens if you're looking for warmth and imperfection which is right up my alley.

At long last we can shoot Summilux lenses wide open on a sunny day without ND filters.  Liberation!!!  Thank you Leica.
