And a little lizard make use of an old nest at Tittesworth Reservoir, Staffordshire. I didn't spot the lizard until I uploaded this image at home.

Hello Gibbo,

Perhaps it came to visit because where you are is getting warmer.

Where I am fig trees that were very uncommon a while back are an everyday tree today. Altho they have not quite adjusted to the climate here so some trees might overwinter some figs until the next year when they will ripen.
