I am looking for a lightweight compact TTL flash for use with my Q2, but am trying to understand which are compatible.  I understand that the SF24D may be one option, but will  the SF20 also work? Does anyone have any experience of either in use? The flash needs to be very compact and will only be for occasional use, primarily for fill-in basis so it needs to be TTL.

I don’t use flash myself but in a separate thread @LeicaGuy mentioned that the SF 26 works with the Q2. As you will see from the manual, it says that the Q2 is compatible with “Leica system flash units”.  Worth asking a Leica store?

It seems that the SF26 is the only small flash that will work properly on a TTL basis with the Q2. So I have just bought one,. And so so far impressed by both its compactness and seeming functionality - although still early days.

I don't use flash much, but it would be nice to have a flash for my Q2 and M10M for specific instances - 1-2 second shutter speeds with rear curtain synced flash.

I keep looking at the Leica SF40, but paying $560 USD for something that was made in China for 1/10th that price just rubs me the wrong way. 🙄

Since Leica (and Apple) does trust China's manufacturing, I guess you have a much higher quality standard as well as a secrete better checking method than Leica?

The issue is not quality; the issue is the retail price.
