Popular Post zupfgeiger Posted May 14, 2021 Popular Post Share #1 Posted May 14, 2021 Advertisement (gone after registration) Today my brand new 28mm Summilux arrived. After playing around with the lens on my M10 P a bit I must say: The cons (size, weight, viewfinder blockage) are no deal breaker for me. True, it's not one of the smallest and lightest Leica lenses, but not too heavy and bulky for a day on the street with it. First shots clearly show the pros: it's tack harp, has a modern, contrasty look and a wonderful 3D pop which reminds me of my 50mm Apo. The bokeh at f1.4 is gorgeous and of course a main reason I bought this lens for. I am curious how the 28mm Lux will fit on my M10 Monochrome. Welcome, dear visitor! Actually you are right. Looks bit weird with the other guys blurred by bokeh and only my son sharp in the middle. But my intension was just to test the lens with some first shots at open aperture. Unfortunately, many users of fast Leica lenses (especially Noctilux) seem to never get out of the testing phase. ☹️ Jeff 1

earleygallery Posted May 17, 2021 Share #8 Posted May 17, 2021 Imagine the emotional damage that has been done to those other kids, nah, don't want a photo of you guys, just testing what the bokeh looks like, you're not important enough for anywone to waste time taking your actual photo! What's the number for Childline?

I think that this is a serious remark. There is such a lot of abuse in the web. And once a picture is uploaded it is gone and lost in the eternal swamps of the dark net. I never ever posted a picture of my own kids. Most probably you are not informed enough. As the Mods of the forum in our days I would even evaluate a new rule that pictures of children are forbidden in the forum. Just to protect the parents that are so proud of their kids. And to protect the children of course.

Whether he meant it as a serious remark or not, I agree with your comments about uploading pictures of children. I think this has been discussed numerous times on here in the past and it's a sad inditement of our times, but it never ceases to amaze me that people continue to do it.

ianman Posted May 18, 2021 Share #14 Posted May 18, 2021 (edited) I'm not sure what the issue is. Edit: ... but I did promise myself that I would not get involved in controversial subject anymore, so please just ignore me. What about when the kids are outside - nothing stops perverts from seeing them. Where does it end? Actually it ends in far more danger for children as I for one wouldn't go near a lost child for example, for fear of being accused of doing wrong - I saw this happen once and the person helping the child was a woman, then the parent turned up and went crazy at her! Anyway, back to the topic, yes results - and bokeh - look very nice.
capo di tutti capi Posted May 18, 2021 Share #16 Posted May 18, 2021 (edited) I looked at the browser setup. If you bought something over the Internet. They know where your wife lives, you, your children, phone numbers, maps. Know all your friends and your friends ' friends. I don't think a picture of a child means anything. A friend's camera was stolen. The bandits were found on the same day. Video surveillance is everywhere. The police were looking at the road leading to their house. I'm talking about Moscow. Video surveillance is also available in stores. It's like in a Hollywood movie. When the police look at the records. My daughter registered a teen account (so that her parents wouldn't see it) I got a notification - maybe you know each other. Ahahaha. Facebook, instagram etc To be hidden you need to try very hard.
