Hey ,

I can't find an angle viewfinder for the SL2.

How do you manage to make low or high angle picture without using your phone.

Is there any DIY that you can recommend?

And apart of this:

is there a menu point to mirror the image of the camera? If so we could just use a mirror or something reflective

as a mirror.

And yes I know that you can take the picture and alter the framing. But sometimes its quit nice to see what you are doing.

I am enjoying both methods but I would like to achieve the method with more control.

Curious how you solve this challenge.

kind regards Peter

My current solution, just to not lie in the dirt: ;)

Does unfortunately not help for waist-level shots :D

Ok, apologies for delays in posting. Here is the new bracket attached to the right angle viewfinder. Cost is £22.40.

Its a really solid fit and slides in and out easy, no worries about it falling off. This coupled with a cropped frame is an amazing way to make the camera feel new again.

First batch have been made ready for shipping. Some are sold already and will go out today.

This looks very good.

Are you selling the bracket alone, or the viewfinder with the bracket already attached ?
If it’s the former which viewfinder would I need?
If it is the latter I’d love to buy one. Would you ship to Canada?

It's the former, the viewfinder doesn't come attached :)

The model numbers that should work are 14287 and 14286. Others may work but I haven't bought and tested those. Others on here will know better than I, but these two are readily available.

I'll ship anywhere :)

Hi, thanks for the posting, the one photo missing is the one showing how the bracket is attached to the right angle finder. Can you show how this is done please?

Will do. You unscrew the existing bracket, and screw this one on. The holes match :)

I’ll share the image.
