You mean the "modern" Leica Geosystem devices like the RC30 camera ?  Appealing... but a really specialized system for surveyiors...

the typical "aerial camera" (not for surveying) in the Leitz Collectors' world is the Military Leitz Canada/Maurer KE28 ...  it has all the details which are appreciated by we collectors of "oldtimers"... 😄   https://www.ebay.com/itm/JA-MAURER-KE-28B-U-S-MILITARY-6x6cm-Aerial-Camera-Leitz-Elcan-6-2-8-lens-/143750692392

It was the other way round: Wild Heerbrugg A.G.  bought the majority of shares of Ernst Leitz GmbH in 1974 and took over completely when the last member of the Leitz family retired in 1987.

I fully agree, Luigi. And of course I had a Maurer KE-28B nº 630 with Leitz Canada lens Elcan 6in./f2.8 nº 138-0156 with filters and caps, all in a strong "valise". I add photos for those who are interested.
