Minor annoyance, but when viewing forum threads using Chrome on my Android device, the thread content is pushed up against the left edge of the screen - virtually no margin on the left at all.  I don't seem to recall this being the case right after the forum software was updated but I may have overlooked it.

I just noticed this last night, looking at the forum on my phone for the first time since the update. Perfectly readable, but it just looks wrong to have no margin.

Can you provide a screenshot?

Will have a look into this!

Andreas

I'm not sure if this is clear. Clicking the image to show it in the viewer makes it more obvious.

After the code update I noticed a disparity generally concerning upload 'sizes'.
Kept getting '...been a problem' despite doing what I have always been doing.
Initially raised it in the MONOCHROM image forum thread - last post
Might be complex to fix, so no hurry, just want to log the issue. Meanwhile
I will hike back the size of my output until you can or will put your high tide
marker back to what has always been promised (for premium supporters).

Please don’t post bug reports in completely unrelated threads. The chances are they will be lost as no one can read every thread.

Please post here if you have a problem with the updated software. Thanks.

AFAIK, Premium members should still be able post images on the same size they have always been able to.

I didn't know it was a bug until I had asked (to no avail) in my normal thread.
Cheers, I have posted here citing a problem with the updated software.
Despite your assertion am *not* able to post images "as I have always been able to".
Hence the bug report ...citing a now deleted or moderated post.

Hope you don't mind my mentioning it, but the very minor bug with the display of "like", "thanks" and "ha-ha" on the bottom right of a post, as described in posts 21, 30 and 41, is still there with earlier versions of Safari and El Capitan. Looking on Chrome on my ancient HUDL2 tablet though, seems fine.

Not apparently so. As a test when I try to repost my previously
successful image your new updated software reports 'a problem'.
FWIW I suggested what might be the issue in the post you deleted.

@piran

I think I found the issue: You uploaded a PNG file.

Try using a JPG in good quality, makes the image much smaller without loss in quality.

Andreas

...err why are YOU posting under MY name?

The issue is not my use of PNGs (allowed).
I prefer PNGs, particular in B&W, they are my default output.
Original posting was a PNG, it worked then, the same file now does not.
PNGs are small enough for me and there is no loss in quality.
Issue subsists... the use of JPGs is not a substitute or workaround.

pointed out that the original posting was PNG
