Leica M6. Leica 50mm f1.2 Noctilux lens.  Tri-X rated at 800, developed 7:45 in XTOL stock with added Rodinal 1:100. 20 degrees Celsius.

Whilst I tend to use f1.2 for effect, such narrow DoF is not always appropriate and in any case I enjoy the colours from the Re-Issue + M11 combination.  Some examples at apertures >f1.2 from yesterday.

First post and hoping to revive this thread/discussion. Seems like this lens has been a bit controversial due to lack of understanding what is designed to do. Some Beautiful Images here that show the look of this lens.  If you got it, keep the pics coming.

I got this lens about a month ago, and am still learning the ins and outs. I'm really enjoying it—it's becoming my most-used 50mm, displacing even my 50 Lux ASPH!

It's small enough that I can use it as my everyday 50, and, compared to other 50s I've tried, I think it gives me more of the look I'm after in my casual family portraiture.

Both images look great, and they make me want this lens! They are also surprisingly sharp in the center, are both shot wide open?
