I used the Adobe Vivid profile for a bit extra "punch", Auto white- and black point, and a little bit (15%) of clarity. And I used an ExpoDisc for natural WB. 1

Seeing some strange foreground bokeh with the new version, I am happy that I went with a v3. The coming weeks I have some portrait sessions booked, so I am curious to see how that will work out.

The coming weeks I have some portrait sessions booked, so I am curious to see how that will work out. After using both lenses, my feeling is that the v3 is the more balanced optical design, with the newer v4 lens having been over-optimised on the computer. On the M8, the crop factor would help the 11714, leaving the good stuff and cutting out the corner funkiness.
