These measures are listed on an eBay ad: "Usable height inside is 2.00" (5.08 cm)  Top internal ring diameter 2.36" (6.00 cm)  Bottom internal ring diameter 2.50" (6.35 cm)". It sounds like it might fit, even though it's not made for this lens. I have a case which came with my 50mm Summilux-pre-asph case 86mm tall. I put the 35mm with hood 12504 and rear cap, it was just the right size ! With rear cap up ok, but with hood up not as right, strange. Padded foam hole at top is not large enough. ... 12504 hood wide circa 65mm, whole set "cap lens hood" long 62mm your linked case may be a bit short ... I also have such a case for my 50mm Summilux pre-ASPH, and for all my other lenses, that's why I wanted one for my 35mm Summilux pre-ASPH as well. I tried to put it in the case for the 50mm, but I think the bottom hole is a bit too small, about 5 cm, while, as you say, the lens hood is about 6,5 cm. The case in the ad seems to have a wider bottom hole, but as you say, it's probably too short. The 35mm Summilux pre-ASPH with hood is a bit longer than I thought, only 0,5 cm shorter than the 50mm. But maybe I should look after another 50mm case, because it fits in a way, and maybe I can manage to make the bottom hole a bit wider. Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

I just wonder: The outer height of the lens case in the ad is 7 cm. How can it be that the "usable height inside" is only 5 cm? Wouldn't it be possible to press the padded foam enough to force a 6 cm lens into it? The other measures seem to fit perfectly. I can live with that, or I can wait until I find a similar case that is cheaper. I asked the seller if he thinks the case will fit, but he probably doesn't know. James24 Posted February 1, 2021 Share #9  Posted February 1, 2021 I don't think any will fit if you want to leave the hood on. My guess is that you could try a 50mm Summicron case and remove some foam, as the internal ring diameters are not going to like the hood. Or use a 35mm Summicron case and leave the hood off. 1 Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
